Seems that until we find some way to lock down WP entries, this is going to be the place to be for lockedup stuff, once I leave LJ. And, yes, I think it's time to go*. I think it's kind of sad and scary to move because you know that most of your friends won't come with you. But, I suppose, someone's got to start it. I was on my own on LJ for a long time. I've seriously considered going back to my original name, but it's been too long for that. Besides, I don't plan to be here for long. We'll come up with some way to network ourselves together (who knows what's out there that we can bend to our purposes?) and go from there.

I love the idea of a plethora of tiny LJs all over the internet, each with its own purpose. Something will come along.

Anyone have a copy of this? I loved this song when I was little. I have NO idea what it means but it was one of the few things I would actually sing, when I did, as a kid.

Down past the ponds... Phone battery is dying, but I like it anyway.	Flaurs to the left... I was sitting on the hill, reading.
Flaurs to the right... There were bees in that purple flower there, a honey bee and a bumble bee and more around me. Zubzubzub goes the air.	Front yard down the street. This is what I want my front yard to look like. All the tidy neighbors get their panties in a terrible twist over this.

I'll not comment on the recent dustup except to say that leaving LJ will not change the definition of artistic merit or divert the save teh chyldrun movement in any way, shape, or form. The grass is not necessarily greener anywhere else, not even in Canada, sadly.

Since I tend to hoard my username wherever I can, you can find me as machineplay on LJ/GJ/IJ. You'll not be missing anything unless I say otherwise. I'm also myself on 43Things, Twitter, and I'm trying to remember my Flickr password... also LibraryThing... erm. What else? Anyway. I'm around. Since I have a permanent account, as well as a paid one, and I have my accounts backed up, I'll be staying put and trying to keep my Zen. Wait, I'm on Vox as well. Yeah.

*I've decided that this is my new royal title. I just need a crest.
