Delta Dawn -- Tanya Tucker
Anyone have a copy of this? I loved this song when I was little. I have NO idea what it means but it was one of the few things I would actually sing, when I did, as a kid.

Delta Dawn, what's that flower you have on
Could it be a faded rose from days gone by
And did I hear you say he was a-meeting you here today
To take you to his mansion in the sky

She's forty-one and her daddy still calls her "baby"
All the folks around Brownsville say she's crazy
'Cause she walks around town with a suitcase in her hand
Looking for a mysterious dark-haired man

In her younger days they called her Delta Dawn
Prettiest woman you ever laid eyes on
Then a man of low degree stood by her side
And promised her he'd take her for his bride

Delta Dawn, what's that flower you have on
Could it be a faded rose from days gone by
And did I hear you say he was a-meeting you here today
To take you to his mansion in the sky

Down past the ponds... Flaurs to the left...
Down past the ponds...
Phone battery is dying, but I like it anyway.
Flaurs to the left...
I was sitting on the hill, reading.
Flaurs to the right... Front yard down the street.
Flaurs to the right...
There were bees in that purple flower there, a honey bee and a bumble bee and more around me. Zubzubzub goes the air.
Front yard down the street.
This is what I want my front yard to look like. All the tidy neighbors get their panties in a terrible twist over this.
