| Bio: |  Journal Introduction and Caveats Welcome to my journal. My name is Ande and I have way too many people on my friends' list. I've recently decided to go Friends Only, since I have a public blog available already for discussing my writing. Anything you really need to know about me is in this LJ or on my information page, so I'll let you work it all out. I love my f'list. I call it that even though it's twee. There are lots of people on my f'list. I use filters to post, but not to read. If you're not on a filter, I promise you that you're not missing anything on it because what's there wasn't pertinent to you, anyway. I will harass you with enough posting, no matter where you are. Commenting Policy - You to Me: There isn't one, other than the B&T Order, "Be excellent to each other." Commenting Policy - Me to You: I comment when I have energy to do so and when I feel that I could be of use. Sometimes e-hugs are all I have to give, but I'll give them if I can. Reading Policy - Either Way: When the time and energy are available. If I need you to know something, I don't rely on LJ. I will find you and tell you somehow. I hope you'll do the same for me. Sometimes, I don't read my whole f'list. This is usually because I can only hit the 'Skip back 50' link so many times before my eyes cross or because LJ isn't showing me everyone's posts. Sometimes, seasonally or when I'm working on a novel (this can last a month or more, but I usually say something about it), it's because I'm simply not reading. This isn't because I don't care about you. Egregious Circumstances: There's one other reason I may not be reading or commenting -- I have atypical depression and fibromyalgia, neither of which respond to medication. Some days I can hardly dress myself or walk to the bathroom. Some days I'm suffering from mental 'fog', a neurological side-effect of both illnesses, and I can't make sense of what's written, or I can't come up with a coherent response. Some days, I'm simply 'hibernating' because the mental strain of daily living is taking everything out of me. Some days, less commonly, I'm unable to type. Thanks to these two 'ailments', I have a memory like a sieve; my brain is full of little holes through which dribble out important things. I apologize in advance for this.
